sprobuj tego: Same PB troubles here, but not for official UBI-servers (it is different for everyone). I was desperate so I wanted to reinstall PB. This is how I did it (took me a long while to figure it out): 1. Downloaded the socalled PBSetup-tool here. 2. Deleted the pb-directory in the quake 3 3. Made the pb-directory 4. Run the PBSetup-tool Instead of getting kicked every 5-10 minutes on 95% of the servers for Lost KeyPackets or General Authentication Error -while my PB was uptodate - , I now only get kicked for the same BS on some servers every 5 minutes. Two of them belong to my favorites (one running the new tournament Mappack), so I’m still quite mad of PB. Although this is an improvement of the situation before, i thought of starting a crusade against PB’s Lost Key Packets & General Authenthication error. There is also a small thing you can do in your registry to lower the chance of Lost Key Packets, but the forum I read it in, is renewed and the thread disappeared.

Release Notes for PB Server v1.128: new pb_sv_pktSendMode setting defaults to 0 which means PB will continue to use the old netcode used in prior versions; setting to 1 tells PB to use the new netcode which sends out of band (OOB) packets to connected clients in an effort to address numerous network I/O related problems including kicking for ’losing key packets’; some admins who have pretested the new netcode report that it does not work well for them so be prepared to watch your server(s) closely; consider this an option that may or may not be right for your server(s) addressed bug with PB’s Bad Name Facility not warning/kicking properly
