FF|linux - Introduce your self, tell us something about you.


cGu`Guard - I am Marius Ivananauskas, i'm 17 years old and i go to the 11th form. Games take up a big place in my life i spend quite a lot of time at them. I like listening to music, going to parties and discoes...


FF|linux - You won the FF CUP so tell our readers something about your quake life, your achevements and so on.


cGu`Guard - I started playing about 3 years ago, my friend brought me to a tournament. then i didnt know how to play... it was then when i found quake very interesnting. i started training with my friends at lans, clubs. Then other tournaments followed. Results grew. At almost all tournaments, my main contestant was Nova and untill now, he was the one who always threw me out of the seeding. It seemed that he became my enemy but vice versa he became my friend. He like explained me my faults, invited me to play at his hometown. That was very good because in my hometown i didnt have whom to practice with so he became almost like my sparing partner. When i didnt have whom to play with, i started playn at sweedish servers. It was there where i got my skills at running and stuff... :D. And i practiced my aim with BOTS! :DDDD.


FF|linux - And what was the story with FF CUP :) ?


cGu`Guard - Once Nova told me that there would be a tournament in Poland so he invited me to stay at Kaunas for a few days before our arrival to Poland. It was there where my skills showed up to be more of use.


FF|linux - And what could you say about your game in FF CUP?


cGu`Guard - The FF Cup went on smoothly, just as i had planned. My first opponent was easy (low skilled). A lot of polish players watched me play, therefore i gave up a bit, and didnt show my true skill :)). The next opponent was matrox. When i won against him i began believing that i could win the first place. And thats the way the cookie crumbles!!!!!! :)


FF|linux - What do you think about the whole tournament i mean in organisation, location and stuff like that.


cGu`Guard - Of coz i liked the tournament, coz i won it.I played on a good pc (the main thing). There were only problems with my mouse (pilot wheel mouse). The city was really nice, lots of girls*. Good beer, nice fellas. So im pretty much satisfiied with the whole tourney thing.


FF|linux - Tell me. Who was the toughest player you played with on FF CUP?


cGu`Guard - Surely Sting.


FF|linux - Could you tell us something about the match with him?


cGu`Guard - It all went on automaticly coz i was really tired. I wasnt nervous coz the secound place was enough. On ztn i got the control of the map and held on to it. On hub i got nervous and lost it. T4 was pure luck :).


FF|linux - Ok so it seams its the end of the interview. Tell us how is the icemat doing? :)


cGu`Guard - Icemat is a very good mouspad it seemed that playn on it will be a really frustrating experience but its not! After playn on it a bit u can feel the its advatages over an everyday mousepad. what i can say about this pad is that i have never seen anything like it. Cooool pad :).
