1. Hi stermy. Please introduce yourself to our readers, tell us what's your name, age, where are you from, what do you do for living, hobbies and stuff like that ;]

Hi, I’m Alessandro “stermy" Avallone, from italy. I’m 17 and i’m a student. I like play football and other sports. I leave in Andora, a small town near Genova. Do you know Genova? :D

frg: I was in Italy few times but never in Geneva, I need to visit this city next time :)

2. TuLLs. You are the most successful Italian clan in history of Quake3. You are in the EuroCup from beginning. What's your secret? Tell us something more about your team, ppl in it, sponsors?

Tulls is the best clan in italy.

We have good players, good leader and organitation; Now the active player are me, booms, miso,ripper and we are attending ecIX. We are sponsored by Leader, Intel and Olidata, who give us Pc and pay our trip abroad. Tulls is a clan born at qw times (1997) and it's one of the oldest clan in italy (and world?)

3. How do you feel about the WCG droping Quake3 of its tournament? Do you think that this deccision is good for "gaming" or just a bad move from the organizers? What are your thoughts about WCG?

I think that Wcg is the best event for gaming nowadays;It has got very good organization and prizes. Dropping of quake3? Of course they did a bad move,quake3 is one of the best fps and it has to be there.

4. Stermy, Booms, Gion. The most known trio from Italy. We all saw gions game at WCG 2001 (?), we all saw the great games between you and your mate Booms. Pls tell us why are only three gamers from your homeland so "pro"? Small scene, bad connections, goverment conspiracy ? ;]

In this moment, the Italian quake3 community is too little. We haven’t connection for play abroad, because the best Italian connection is adsl 1280/256, with 20-30ms in italy. The most of the adsl connections are Interveleaved (not fastpath == 60 ping on first hop) because of the telco . We cant do anything about that. Only now, after a long time, we can buy a fastpath dsl (max 1280/256) with some providers like Ngi.

In the big city like Milan or Rome there is 10mbit connection with nice ping in all Europe. But only some player have got it.. So we can't train very well with european player and clan.

5. Italian woman ;] When I look at a french girl I just see what she could do to me with her tounge :P. When I look at a russian girl I see mafia, vodka and polosatiy and I always loose my apetite. Tell me what do you see when you look at an Italian girl? ;]

Italian girls :D? They are really beautiful :D

6. CPMa. Promode is growing, the players are beggining to switch platforms etc. What are your thoughts about the CPMa mod? Did you try it?

I’ve tried CPMa but I don’t like it very much. It’s funny the bunny hop and the very fast weapon switch, but I prefer vq3 for competition.

7. Tulls have recently recruted a Slovenian division consisting of the former 666 players if I remember good. Simple question: Why?

Actually U are wrong ;) Miso and Dark came from D3v long time ago in 2000 while Ripper joined from 666 in 2001. We are long time friends now ;)

8. Your clan attended the Qlan last year - btw I loved your haircut - and you did quiet well. If I remember good you also played in the 1v1 competition. What are your experiences after the QLan? Are you going to attend the next edition in April?

After the last Qlan, I’ve played some internet tourney and Italian lan, than, after the summer,I wentto Wipeoutlan and cXg. Also this time, we are probably attending Qlan, and I hope eswc.

9. I suppose that you heard of UT2k3 :) Did try it? Do you think that the next part of the UT series will better then the 2003 version? Does Tulls clan plan to play it?

Yea, I’ve played a lot it. I like the game, it’s similar to quake3, but.. Is it a bad copy of quake3? An ut2004's squad? We’ve talked about it a lot, but we didn't decide yet.

10. Fatality Inc. Do you think that there could be a Stermy Inc? What are your thoughts about Jonathans "corporation"?

He is doing great things . He is committed on the thing he likes so why shouldn't him do that. He started his business and he really is getting progaming known to the public.

Stermy.inc? A dream now , maybe in the future.

11. Ok, lets get back to Q3 again. What makes an opponent for you hard to play against?

Any game is a game apart with his own history. I never understimate opponent and I try to keep focused and play at my best.

12. How would you describe your playing style? Aggressive or more deffensive? Whitch one is more comfortable for you?

Aggressive :> Because my way of thinkin it's the same.

13. Do you think that new maps have to come and the old ones (prot4/ztn/prodm6) should be removed? New things aren't always good as you know,so would it be vise to add some new maps into the tournaments? This is also a TDM question.

I think that new maps would be added, and the old would be played. New maps like prot7 are so good, why don’t play them?

14. You have a great gaming carrer behind you, the future looks also bright. What motivates you to go to the next tournaments?

I Wanna do good at the next events and, of course, in the new game. I will play seriously and surely i will take good result.

15. What are in your opinion the five best Quake3 duel players in the World?

Cooller - Socrates - Zero4 - / - /

17. What is the best way to be a pro?

Practice, practice, practice, practice..

Ja jestem zdania, że jeśli wchodzimy do tej unii to powinniśmy się uczyć języków. Z tego powodu nie bede tłumaczył moich wywiadów, no chyba ze dostane rozkaz :P. btw angelski od stermiego sux :D

frg no tak ale nie mozesz zapomniec o graczach ktorzy maja ponizej 13 lat, ba nawet niektorzy dorosli nie umieja angielskiego wiec nastepnym razem jak bedziesz przeprowadzac wywiad rowniezz go przetlumacz ;)

Jak dla mnie moze byc po angielsku, ale naszym zadaniem jest tworzenie serwisu dla kazdego, wiec polska wersja jak najbardziej powinna sie pokazac.. :)

zalezy jak gosc wyglada do jakiej dziewczyny podejdzie i jak to powie:] z tego co pamietam to nasze dziewczyny za granica (wasze tez. bez urazy) sa najwekszymi qrewkami pod sloncem, niestety. ale sami sobie je tak wychowalismy.

gunner to ty chyba prawdziwych polek nie poznales nigdy :) Polki naleza do grona kobiet najbardziej pozadanych na swiecie :) Jesli chodzi o wyglad stermiego to raczej z tym nie powinien miec problemow, jest modelem w pewnej wloskiej agencji afaik..
